Gustavo is a Process Engineer Consultant working at Process Design Center. He worked in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine as part of a Baekeland Mandate (PhD), where he obtained a Professional Doctorate in 2020 (TU/e, The Netherlands) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (KU Leuven, Belgium, pending defense). The doctorates collectively concern process dynamic optimization, optimal experimental design, and modelling of seeded pharmaceutical crystallization systems. His expertise lies in modelling, programming, machine learning, and sustainable technologies.
