GoodByO is developing a next-generation microbial biorefinery that transforms food waste, biogenic CO₂, and wastewater into sustainable bio-based products. The project valorizes gaseous and liquid side streams from the ChainCraft BV bioplant as low-cost feedstocks, advancing circular and carbon-negative production models. GoodByO aims to validate four innovative microbial production platforms at TRL5 using real industrial feedstocks, paving the way for future scale-up. Through the sustainable production of bio-based chemicals and carotenoids, the project will demonstrate scalable, renewable energy-driven solutions for low-carbon and resource-efficient biomanufacturing.
