GOODBYO – FLEXIZYME JOINT LCA WORKSHOP

On 8 September 2026, FLEXIZYME and its sister project GoodByO came together for a dedicated workshop on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology alignment.

The workshop provided an opportunity for the two project teams to exchange experiences and perspectives on LCA, discuss methodological approaches and challenges, and share knowledge gained through their respective work.

The meeting represented another step towards closer collaboration between the two projects, highlighting the importance of fostering synergies, exchanging knowledge and experiences, and building on each project’s results to maximise their impact at the EU level. In October, GoodByO will contribute to two upcoming FLEXIZYME events, with representatives of the project joining both the FLEXIZYME Online Masterclass and the first FLEXIYZME Policy Dialogue as speakers.
