FLEXIZYME at IFIB 2025: Showcasing Innovation in the Bioeconomy
On 25–26 September 2025, FLEXIZYME was present at the International Forum on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioeconomy (IFIB), held at the historic Cavallerizza Reale in Turin, Italy.
This annual event is a key meeting point for the bioeconomy community, bringing together startups, companies, universities, and public and private research centres to exchange ideas, showcase innovation, and explore opportunities for collaboration.
Our colleagues from ENCO, represented by Angela Marzorati, contributed to the forum with a poster presentation titled: “FLEXIZYME: Redesigning Fatty Amine Production for a Bio-Based Bioeconomy.” The poster highlighted FLEXIZYME’s work in developing a sustainable enzymatic platform for fatty amine production from agro-food side streams, positioning the project as part of the larger European effort to drive a circular and resource-efficient economy.
Beyond the scientific exchange, IFIB also provided valuable networking opportunities through its well-known B2B matchmaking programme, fostering discussions on potential synergies and partnerships for future innovation.
