Meet FLEXIZYME’s consortium!
FLEXIZYME is formed by a well-balanced consortium covering the entire value chain, from residue valorisation to end-users. Our mission is to develop a flexible, cost- efficient biotechnological platform with innovative catalyst and process design technologies.
The consortium is formed by 17 partners, of which 11 are industrial representatives and 6 are academic institutions. It combines fundamental R&D, enzymatic processes, and sustainability assessment from academia with practical production and market expertise from industry. This collaboration ensures a comprehensive approach, enhancing the feasibility and success of our project. All project partners are vital for addressing EU social and industrial needs comprehensively and ensuring the long-term success of FLEXIZYME results.
Additionally, the Consortium involves many EU regions, ensuring a geographic diversity and coverage of a significant portion of European markets with defined roles that contribute strategically to EU industrial competitiveness and the transition to a circular bio-based economy, offering clear EU-wide benefits.
